12-14 March 2025.
The second of five study visits will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Independent living is a condition for independent decision-making. Participants will learn about the possibilities for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to participate in elections, the right to make their voices heard at all times, and the difference between the national, regional, and local elections. The training will include learning how to write and speak in an easy language. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the inclusive Paralympic sport, boccia.
Participants will receive a significant reimbursement towards their travel and accommodation costs (probably enough to cover the entirety of the stay), but the number of places is limited. The application deadline is 10 February 2025, so do not delay!
